We've Moved!

Overview

"Sound and Vision. That's what movies are all about. We provide half of that equation."

Ron Bochar & Phil Stockton, founders of C5, Inc.

The C5 consortium of top sound designers has been creating dramatic movie sounds since 1989. Every footstep, door slam, dish clink, distant dog bark, period vehicle, cricket chirp, you name it, is seamlessly woven together to bring feature films, shorts, and documentaries, regardless of the budget, vividly to life.

C5 specializes in state-of-the-art sound editing, design and mixing, including Foley recording and editing, Automatic Dialogue Replacement (ADR), effects editing, and the latest in dialogue editing technologies.

C5 provides a huge range of sound design. From the creation of Angel wings or period aircraft, to the whispering song of bamboo sticks or destruction of a laboratory, to delicate rustle of clothing or frantic flurry of animated creatures, the designers manipulate thousands of original digitized clips together to enhance the depth and impact of each movie frame.

Some recent 2004 projects to hear C5's work would include Martin Scorsese's "The Aviator"; Mike Nichol's "Closer"; Jonathan Demme's "The Manchurian Candidate" and "The Agronomist"; Joshua Marston's "Maria Full Of Grace"; Dylan Kidd's "P.S". Upcoming films would include Chris Wedge's "Robots" and Harold Ramis's "The Ice Harvest".
