Video Transfer Specifications - 35mm to S-VHS

Non-drop visual time code centered on the bottom center of picture frame
Academy leader and time code for each reel should begin at 01:00:00:00 with an audible pop at 01:00:06:00 matching visual 2 count on leader
Picture start should be at 01:00:08:00 time code
Include at least thirty seconds pre- and post-roll
Visual and audible tail sync should occur 2 seconds or 3 feet after LFOA
One film reel per S-VHS tape
29.97 FPS non-drop SMPTE time code on address track
S-VHS Hi-Fi videotape audio tracks should contain the following:
- Standard audio channel 1 = cut work track
- Standard audio channel 2 = non-drop 29.97 SMPTE tc
- Hi-Fi audio channel 1 = cut work track (without music) if available

Note: Videotapes should only be delivered with locked picture to avoid sync issues during mixing.
